Game Research and Immersive Design

Game Research and Immersive Design (GRID) provides services that are integral to today's educational environment. Using game technologies and concepts to increase engagement and effectiveness of the learner. We use professional game technologies and game techniques to build augmented, virtual, and mobile experiences. The design process using these elements connects the virtual design patterns with physical design techniques and tools.

There are 3 main areas that make up GRID:

Virtual Worlds

Using virtual worlds, students from around the globe can participate in synchronous online activities, teaching them to craft virtual identities in the process.
