Welcome to Online Learning at Rutgers
Online learning, whether you are taking a course or pursuing a degree, can be a valuable learning experience. Online learning provides flexibility, 24/7 accessibility, and the ability to work at your own pace. Online instructors make a range of resources and tools available to students such as video, library resources, simulations, and group projects that enhance learning and expose learners to a range of content.
About Us
The Center for Online and Hybrid Learning and Instructional Technologies (COHLIT) is an academic unit of the Division of Continuing Studies, reporting to the Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs. It was founded to support the rapidly expanding areas of fully online and hybrid learning at Rutgers. Though initially focused on the eCollege/Pearson LearningStudio platform, the Center’s mission has more recently expanded to serve faculty and students on all major Learning Management Systems in use at Rutgers.
